Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit mboresund.se, apply for a job with us or ask for a quote. The Swedish version is the original.
1. Who is responsible
MB ORESUND AB (MB Öresund)
Reg. no. 559603-2234
Serenadgatan 35, 215 73 Malmö, Sweden
Email: [email protected]
2. Why we use your data
- Job applications: to read your application and contact you about a suitable job. We do this with your consent, which you give in the form.
- Quote requests and jobs: to reply, visit the site, give a quote, and carry out and invoice the work. This is needed to enter into and fulfil a contract with you. We keep invoices and accounts because the law requires it.
- The website: to show the site and protect it and the forms against attacks and spam. This is our legitimate interest in a secure website.
3. What data we use
- Applications: name, email, phone and trade (optional), what you write about yourself and your CV (optional).
- Quote requests: name, phone, email (optional), town or address, type of work, your description and photos (optional).
- Visits: technical data such as IP address and browser type.
You decide what you send, but without your name and contact details we can't reply. Please don't send your personal identity number, ID documents or sensitive information, for example about your health, religion or trade union membership. If any arrives anyway, we don't use it and we delete it.
4. Who receives the data
- Simply.com (Denmark) runs our email. Applications and quote requests arrive in our mailbox there.
- Cloudflare (USA) runs the website and the security check in the forms (Turnstile). What you send passes through Cloudflare but is not stored there. Cloudflare also uses the security check's technical data to improve its bot protection.
- Our web provider runs the website and the forms, but has no access to what you send.
- Bookkeeping and invoicing: those who help us with this receive the customer details needed on invoices.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Inside the company, applications are read only by the people who handle recruitment. During a recruitment an application may also be saved on company computers.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare is a US company. Transfers to it are protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Simply.com stores our email within the EU.
6. How long we keep the data
- Applications: no more than 6 months. Then we delete them, from our email and from company computers. If you are hired, the data moves to your personnel file.
- Quote requests that don't lead to a job: no more than 6 months.
- Contracts and invoices: 7 years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires.
7. Cookies
We use no cookies and no visitor statistics, and we store nothing in your browser. The security check in the forms only starts when you begin filling in a form, and it sets no cookies.
8. Automated decisions
We make no automated decisions about you.
9. Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent to us keeping your application at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will then delete it. This does not affect what we have already done with it.
10. Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you and get a copy, to have mistakes corrected, to have data deleted, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to object to use based on our legitimate interest, and to receive the data you gave us. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
11. Complaints
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se. If you live in Denmark, you can contact Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk, instead.
